I bought this battery for my HP Pavilion and it was good for 3 weeks then suddenly it was not chargable again, and from that day it is just unusable, the seller does not reply to emails so I recomend not to purchase this item, it is not genuin HP battery and it seems like that it is a product which is not poroduced to last.

Other batteries are much more expensive for this HP dv2000 laptop I'm sure an original battery would be more than double the price of this one. But the life is just the same as my original one, which like many is only about one hour depending what you are doing with the PC. Slight down side is part of the battery edge does not fit as flush as the original. Bur hey what does that matter especially considering the price and it causes no problem. The battery arrived very quickly and well packaged.
